I am planning to get a DS gaming system by mid-december,
My budget will be focused primarily on the best system I can afford, so I will be just getting a cheaper monitor to begin with....if You guys could help me choose one, i'd sure appreciate it. My choices are: LG W2753V-PF Hanns·G HG-281DPBor an LED screen tv I know that the faster resonse time is better, but the LED screens i've seen are fantastically bright, with deeper blacks than other screens i've seen. Fwiw, I plan on just getting one 295 for the time being, then will upgrade to 2-3 (heehee) of the new 300s when they are out in jan-feb-ish. At some point and time after that, I'll be getting a permanent set of Expensive monitors, maybe 3 smaller ones, not sure yet, though. I've read alot of the threads posted here, and I sure appreciate all the insight I've gatered so far... |

I, with the help of the DSO messages boards, asked this same question close to 2 years ago when I ordered my top of the line DSO rig. A majority of responses came back to Samsung brand monitors. I ended up getting a high end Samsung 22 inch flat screen. My only regret was that I didn’t get a larger one. The monitor is amazing and the quality of the graphics is outstanding. I really think Samsung has some of the best gaming monitors going.

look for a monitor that has the same Viewing Angle, both vertical and horizontal, and above 170°, that is a sign of a good quality panel on a monitor.
