OK here is the deal, instead of the veloci now, just go with a 500GB now and then toward the end of the year or Q1 of 2010 upgrade to SSD, so that the SSD will be HDD1 and the current 500GB will be pushed to HDD2 for file storage.
for that resolution on high settings you best go with 1 x 295 or 2 x 275. Now I left you the 1 x 275 for now, cause you can always add a second 275 later and pay less, this way you get to see if you are happy with the performance of one 275, cause if you are then there would be no need for a second one, but if you are not, then you just order one from newtegg and drop it real quick and save money too
also are you sure you want to $150 to OC a 920 to 4.0? I say go with OC stage 1 and be between 3.3 and 3.9 at that resolution the speed difference is not worth the extra cost IMO, but its up to you.
here you go Ticket# 280339 --- Price: $2386 (To see this build click here) Price after current promotion $2286 Copy of Specifications: Chassis Model: Cooler Master HAF 932 Exterior Finish: - Standard Factory Finish Interior Finish: - Standard Factory Finish Trim Accents: - Standard Factory Finish Processor: Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz (Quad Core) Motherboard: EVGA X58 3X SLI (Intel X58 Chipset) (Supports Triple SLI or CrossFire) System Memory: 6GB DDR3 1333MHz Mushkin (Highly Recommended) (Digital Storm Certified) Power Supply: 1000W Corsair HX (Dual/Triple/Quad SLI Compatible) (Silent Edition) Card Reader: - No Thanks Hard Drive Set 1: Operating System: 1x (500GB Western Digital (16MB Cache) (7200 RPM) (SATA) Set 1 Raid Options: - No Thanks Hard Drive Set 2: Multimedia\Data: - No Thanks Hard Drive Set 3: Backup\Misc.: - No Thanks Optical Drive 1: DVD±R/RW/CD-R/RW (DVD Writer 20x / CD-Writer 48x) Optical Drive 2: - No Thanks Internet Access: High Speed Network Port (Supports High-Speed Cable / DSL / Network Connections) Video Card: 1x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275 896MB (Includes PhysX Technology) Add-on Card: - No Thanks Sound Card: Integrated Motherboard Audio Extreme Cooling: H20: Stage 3: High-Performance Liquid Chilled FrostBite System For CPU Liquid Color:UV Redish Pink: Medium Glowing Non-conductive Fluid (Requires H20: Stage 3 & UV Lighting) Chassis Airflow: Standard Factory Chassis Fans Internal Lighting: Internal Chassis Lighting System (UV) (Creates Glowing Effect For H20: Stage 3 UV Fluid) Enhancements: - No Thanks Chassis Mods: - No Thanks Boost Processor: Stage 1: Overclock the processor between 3.3GHz to 3.9GHz (Requires Air Cooling Upgrade) Boost Video Card: - No Thanks, Please do not overclock my video card(s) Boost Memory: - No Thanks, Please do not overclock my memory Tweak Windows: - No Thanks, Please do not tweak the services on the operating system Windows OS: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium (64-Bit Edition) (For Enthusiasts) Restore Kit: Digital Storm Specialized Recovery System (DVD Image Based) Virus Protection: - No Thanks Office: - No Thanks Benchmarking: - No Thanks Install/Test Game: - No Thanks LCD Display: - No Thanks Surge Shield: - No Thanks Speakers: - No Thanks Keyboard: - No Thanks Mouse: - No Thanks External Storage: - No Thanks Exclusive T-Shirt: - No Thanks Priority Build: - No Thanks, Ship Within 5-10 Business Days After Order Is Successfully Processed Warranty: 3 Year Platinum Care Extended Parts & Labor Warranty now remember this build is saving you close to $600, you put that away and save it till the end of the year for a SSD (if current vertex prices drop that would be perfect for us) and a possible second 275 if you see its needed

Sounds good thanks for the SSD tip. I was planning on upgrading the 275 if it wasnt good enough so that'll work.

well if you upgrade to a 285 that would not be much of an upgrade at all cause the difference is very little between them. so a real upgrade would be a 295 or dual sli 275, I figured this way you get a chance to see if you need the second 275 to begin with
good luck
