So, I have been using a lap top for several years and am looking at getting away from it since the one I have is well over 6 years old and has been beat up, rode hard and put up wet so to speak. The times that I have purchased a desk top I have always gone with the prebuilt HP's something that built for general use. I have never gone with a company to build a custom machine. I have also always had intel chips and have never experienced an AMD. Everything that I have read over the past couple of months is that AMD is kicking intel in the hind quarters and have really come a long way. I am therefore willing to give AMD a chance based off what I have seen and read.

I am looking for a desktop with power and something that I am not going to have worry about upgrading, unless it's a hard drive, for the next 5 or 6 years.

I am wanting to do some video and sound work, gaming, eventually VR etc.

Look it over and let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Looks like a build that will do all you wish. The parts selected have a better chance than most to be in stock and ready to go.
