Looks like there is new kid on the block. It seems google is making its own OS now. Anyone else now anything about it?

it will be a cold day in hell before I use any OS google has, I tried their stupid browser and once was enough for me.

I hope they have a 64bit version of that cause after win7, MS's OSes will be only in 64bit with a virtual 32bit.

The only thing I liked about Chrome is the homepage, it has all the pages that you visit the most often, but it really isnt that special and I'm sure there is an add-on for firefox somewhere that does the same thing.

Opera has already have that thing on the homepage that chrome has, Opera calls it speed dial. I don't see any benefits in chrome cause i hear its not very secure security wise.

yes opera has had speed dial for a long time, tho you can just have opera open all the pages when you run the browser, which is what I do, my opera open like 20 pages as soon as I run it, my site, my forum, here, and many other places, etc etc.

Worst thing about chrome is that its just a stupid idea, every tab you open, opens a new process, so for example if you open 10 tabs, you now have 10 processes running in the background eating away at your CPU and memory for not reason, and the total usage of those processes are always way greater then ff or opera. Its pretty much like you have 10 applications running at the same time, its about the dumbest thing I have ever heard of.
