I ordered a bigger and better M.2 SSD because my current 250GB is just not going to be enough. But I only have one available slot. How do I clone the current drive to the new one so I don't lose any files? I also don't want to have to buy an external adapter. I have an HDD drive, or is there any sort of software I can use? One that will let me save it and the apply it to the new drive once it's installed? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Try these programs... I have used Paragon Drive Copy successfully in the past and it’s definitely worth buying and upgrading.
My experience is the free programs leave out better UI and function that you do get when you invest in a full feature program. https://www.techradar.com/news/best-disk-cloning-software |
