Hi i plan on setting up a system taht looks like either
1.PC-coaxial digital-mixamp-headphones
2.PC-Toslink-mixamp-headphones

I dont know the difference between them two for pc use and i was wondering if anyone on the forums know much bout which wire is better to use for gaming or pc use or w/e and if anyone has any specific cables that they would recommend for either the coaxial or the toslinks. Thanks in advance

Not much difference except that Toslink is an optical connection. You also eliminate any ground loops or hum.

Over the distances you'd be running, there should be no difference.

I agree with JJJJ. Plus you would be hard pressed to notice any differences using headphones.

its migh-high end headphoens so i think i would notice. the reason i bought expensive headphoens is to notice little things and get good sound quality. Anyone have suggestions to which coaxial digitals or toslinks?

I ordered the Toslink-to-Digital Coax audio converter that you recommended. It arrived this weekend, and worked well, allowing me to make use of the unused digital coax input on my receiver. Thanks
