I have owned a digital storm computer for almost 2 yrs now and I seem to break it pretty often.  At this point I am having some technical difficulties that i could really use some input and help with.  At first every time i went to boot up my computer it would automatically shut off within a couple of seconds.  Well i must be doing something right because i have fixed that issue.  Now next issue I am not getting a boot up screen on the monitor at all my monitor just seems to fall asleep waiting for the PC to boot up.  That being said i have noticed that there is an error code of F6 and I am not quite sure what that means.  I would sure appreciate some help in this matter from anyone who would know the computer i purchased still has 2+ yrs of warranty left on and would like to get it fixed so that i can start using it again instead of having to use my wife's boring slow DELL.  Please help me thanks!!!

You need to list your specs so anyone that could help you knows what they are working with.

wow Big%20smile
Tried looking for XFX 780i post codes or even the manual reults in nothing worth while. Did find a couple of posts about it was related to bad ram and replacing it corrected their problem. But like I said, not much out there.

Yeah I think your going to have to go through the gammot and troubleshoot the hard way.  I'd begin by powering down then clearing cmos boot back up and see what that does. Then if that is still doing nothing then I'd try one ram stick at a time.
Also, I'd copy your bios settings on a piece of paper before clearing cmos if you are overclocked.  Or just take pictures of the screen.

Also, I'd ask your question on the EVGA boards here http://www.evga.com/forums/tt.aspx?forumid=11

If you want I could ask for you but it would prolly complicate things.

Edit #3...the more I read I think Jimbo is correct and F6 is related to RAM.

Well lets see i guess i did leave out the information that i have tried to take out each stick of ram to just run 1 or the other and i end up getting the same exact thing and as well as that i have also tried to take out both sticks of ram and still the same thing as well.  Not really sure if it will run without ram but i did try all of those options as well.  So i guess if it will not run without the ram at all then what is the possibility of both ram sticks going bad at the same time?  I have also tried putting the ram into different ports as the mother board that i have has 4 places to put the ram and still the same thing is happening.  To check the cmos or any of that don't i actually have to get some activity on the monitor or how would i accomplish that with out getting any activity on the screen?  What is the gammot and how would i clear the cmos and i do appreciate everyone that is helping me try and resolve my issue i thank you all very much.  I think it is very great that there is people out there that respond and are very knowledgeable.

I have tried further and came to a possible conclusion of a bad mother board perhaps and I am not completely sure of this but this is how i have come to the conclusion, I would really appreciate everyone who can to input.  When i have both ram sticks or just one ram have tried both in both directions or slots i should say.  When i put the ram sticks in slot 1 or 3 or both I get the F6 code like its not even noticing that the ram is there at all.  Or saying that the ram is bad.  Now when i have put the ram in the 2nd and 4th slot or either or tried both ram seperately and together as well just for testing purposes, then i powered up the computer and it runs through a series of codes C1 C3 25 FF and immediately powers itself off.  I am not getting anything on the monitor at all still one thing I am going to try is to trouble shoot this problem on the mother board website to see if I can find a possible solution and would highly appreciate some input and help as you all have been so helpfull thus far.  Another question I have is that since i still have a warranty and all that i wonder if D.S. would allow me to take the computer to a shop around the Portland area for service that way i don't have to pay an enormous amount of shipping cost's and if there waranty would cover that.  I miss my computer so much and would like to have it back in working order....WinkWink

Here is a forum with a guy having the same problem. http://www.bjorn3d.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25201  If I were I would not remove the cpu heatsink as this guy is saying unless digital storm advises you to.  Though clearing cmos might be a good idea.

I'd write to digital storm and tell them to call you that way you don't have to spend the money on the phone call.  If you are in school then simply explain to DS what your time frame/window is for a phone call.  Seriously call DS and take advantage of the tech support you paid for.
