I bought I nice DS computer back in 2008, upgraded it a few times through them since then but i'm looking to give it to my kid and i'm going for a new rig.

The new rig is going to mostly be used for gaming since I'm medically retired and have nothing really better to do in my free time due to physical limitations.

I'm looking to spend 3k to 4k (extreme MAX)

l'll cut to the chase. I'm just looking for an expensive toy, something fast with nice graphics for the price range.

Video card wise, I'm upgrading form a 265GTX. Was thinking about 2 680s in SLI or (1) 690 (Bf3 on ultra). Sound card, I'm using the old Soundblaster Fatality, not sure what the latest and greatest is. 

Also I have animals and would like to stick with liquic cooling (fans seems to pick up every piece of hair no matter how clean I keep it). Also the only other thing I would like is my computer not to sound like a 747 in flight Hahaha

Hi Rank393.      Welcome.      I'm not at my rig so can't cut/paste so check out config # 725950       Cost $ 3754.      It gives you water cooling in a case made for it and sli gtx680..     You could save $800 going with a air cooled system, the same setup under Dreadnought, the HafX case with the D14 cooler or Vortex240 mm sealed unit.     Whether you have case fans or radiators with fans blowing through them, its still fans drawing air into a case.      See what you think and best of luck.    Hope this helps.
