1. Your Budget: less than 2k/2500k max
2. Expectations: play high end games, such as arma, witcher 2 without worrying about fps drops. Also play D3, Dota 2 flawlessly. 3. Usage: gaming 4. Special Needs: Nvidia 670 Hey guys, I'm new here, but I've been lurking around DS for quite some time now. I've been away from PC gaming since 2001 and I'm hoping to get back to it now. I want to play D3 and maybe DoTa 2 when it comes out. I also want to play Arma 2 because of DayZ mod. That being said, I want a PC that can handle all those games and can last at least 5 years. Can someone help me out? Thanks in advance. |

That's another thing, If someone can help me out with that as well. I'm thinking of getting a 21' monitor. Sorry I've been out of the loop when it comes to this thing.
EDIT: Thinking of getting this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002453K5G/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=aahhmtgm-20&link_code=as3&camp=211189&creative=373489&creativeASIN=B002453K5G Edited by Teemberland - 24 May 2012 at 9:40am |

Yep, that's the monitor alot of us use and it look s great.
I would suggest looking at the just updated ODE line of pre-configs. The ODE 2 gives you the gtx670 which will play most games on high ,on the monitor Black5Lion listed or the ODE 4 with it's sli 670 that will max out gaming and you get a SSD and bu-ray player and a better cpu cooler with stage 2 overclocking. Check them out and see if they fit your needs.

DS keeps changing things around. It's one line of pc's that if you see what you like, ya better get it before they change again.
I like the latest changes.

Yeah I'm loving ODE LV 2 now! Fits my tight budget too! Also, I understand ODEs are premade, can I still upgrade some components? |

You could make changes at $50 per component change and the difference in price.
It also has to be a minor change.

Late to the topic but I heard so much about those Ultrasharps that I went and saw one in person. They are sweet as hell.
I got 3. |

ODE LVL 2 is fine as is right now. What if down the road I decided to upgrade the MoBo or the video card? |

I don't believe we allow motherboard changes on the ODE with the special change fee, however, we can for the video card. |

Bump!
Question. I'm thinking of getting this config: 694375 Say, I decided to "SLi" it, or maybe add another HDD. Will it void my warranty? |

Adding parts does not void warranty unless adding the part causes problems like bending a pin, short, defective part that surges, etc. In general its no problem. That build looks good.

Quick question Bprat, is SLI 670 an overkill for 1920x1080 monitor?

Sli 670 is definitely not overkill for the monitor and games you mentioned. The difference between single and sli 670 is playing on High or Ultra settings with great fps. A single will play great. A sli will give you more fps and more expansion for the future. The budget pretty much decides what ya can do.
