You would be better off with a 1TB Samsung 860 EVO in storage set 2. Two NVMes on one of the less powerful motherboards actually can borrow bandwidth from each other and run slower than they should. With the 860 EVO, you get an extra 500 GB of storage from a fast SSD that won't gimp your NVMe performance. 500Gb is a lot of space for the apps that will benefit most from the extreme speed of an NVMe drive. Your games will load just fine from an 860 EVO.
I'm not certain you know there is a $200 discount on a build over $2000. It shows up only when you click "add to cart". If you didn't know about this, you can upgrade to the Ryzen 7 5800 X for $2466 if you incorporate the other change. Other than that, it's a fine build. |

thanks so much, if i make those changes do u think it would be better to change/upgrade the motherboard, i think i can squeeze out the extra cash if doing so would help in the long run.

The base motherboard is a solid part. If you want to do better, it wouldn't hurt, but it's not a must IMHO. My pick is the MSI gaming pro carbon with built in Wi-Fi.
