Would anybody be interested in a community discord server for Digital Storm? I think it would be interesting and helps people gather for information and playing video games together would be nice. I have experience in setting up communities on Discord and have created Discord Bots before. If there's questions, feel free to ask, I have been on Discord since the beginning, so Discord comes natural to me.

If this is against community guidelines, please let me know, I will delete.

Interesting idea, but I feel like the removal of their ability to moderate might be an issue. Hard to say, kind if a grey area. A sort of lateral reincarnation of the forum.

Understandable, I guess I'm trying to introduce a way for members to interact within the community for gaming easier. I've found Discord to be very useful in finding parties, etc. It's like old Ventrilo, TS, w/ accompanying old IRC days, but better. Interacting with other users is much easier than old conventional forum board way, but forum boards are still useful for archiving a lot of useful information! Discord's a way to make these interactions more live. Permissions on Discord are very large full of options and moderation can happen automatically with the usage of bots and server settings.

I love the idea. DS's competition (***REMOVED NAMED***) has a discord channel thats monitored by them. Creates a great environment for DS fans, customers, and DIYers to communicate effectively. Would only be icing on the cake if we had DS employees apart of it, which I know might be a longshot.

We are looking to do something like this but are focusing internal efforts on getting out customer orders first and foremost.
