just to make sure im not missing something, the only difference between these 2 is
409339 - 2099 + free shipping - $100 = $1999
409340 - 1582 + $65 shipping? = $1647
so the warranty is $352???

The standard limited is 3 years labor and 1 year on parts. The full Platinum warranty is 3 years labor and 3 years parts (or 4 or 5 years, if you opt for those).
The 4 year limited warrant option in the Special Deals section costs an extra $99 and is 4 years labor and 2 years parts. In case that interests you. |

The "Special Deals" is deliberately bargain priced so those on a budget can afford a custom build with quality parts not usually available from THE top builder. The "Black OPS" is not intended to be the choice of the budget purchaser, but the configurator of high-end systems. The better way to look at it is "I save more than 20% and still get a 1/3 warranty and DS quality?" Or,"I save 15% and still get a 2/4 warranty",etc.
