what is the main difference in the intel P33 and the Nvidia 650i. besides not handling sli.

You mean the P35?
The p35 supports Yorkfield whereas Nvidia 650i does not. |

As I understand it the G33 chipset is the same as a P35 chipset, except the G33 comes with integrated graphics. I also think that it's being geared more towards the HTPC/SFF crowd. A quick Google search showed me a bunch of mATX boards.
As SkyR said, the G33 will support the new 45nm processors that have been/will be released. G33 will also support the new DDR3 standard. |
