I was wondering what sort of specs I should target for minimum requirements related to building a fully functional computer. I’m doing this for a project related to college, since research I have seen is very limited.
Naming parts off would also be great thank you.

Research is limited? You can literally Google any purpose, including "minimum requirements for a fully functional computer", and get 100s of millions of pages.

Minimum requirements are not what is sold here. These are special-purpose gaming computers that more often exceed minimum specs by a wide margin.

Sure but not what I am exactly looking for, I need specified reason why these specs are good for working IT (Information Technology) or as a Network Administrator. I need to do research on a low end/high end than compare why those specs. If I was building a computer based off of being video game designer, information would be widely more available.
