Hey guys so I've had my computer for a while now and everythings been running pretty smoothly but about 3 weeks ago atleast once a day my computer would freeze no matter what I was doing whether it was youtube or gaming etc.. So yesterday I decided to use the Digital Storm image restore disc. Everything went well but then today it froze again randomly so now I'm starting to get worried. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh one more thing, so I have a radeon 5870 with the newest 10.5 drivers and whenever I'm playing a game sometimes my screen will freeze then go black then go back to my desktop and it says Ati display driver has recovered from an error or something like that, not sure whats that about either:S

happened here with my nvidia system. you're lucky windows managed to recover from that without resetting. try to driver update. if that doesn't work, undust and clean out your system internals, reseat RAM, video card, and HDD cables. if that doesn't work, reinstall windows from the cd they gave you, not the system restore. if that doesn't work, put your video card in a different slot. if that doesn't work, contact DS.

just one thing I need to mention though. I had the problem for a few months while I had windows xp. when I upgraded myself to windows 7, the problem magically disappeared...then reappeared a few months later..then magically disappeared. anyways, the rig's in nevada en route to DS right now, so I still dunno what exactly is wrong.
