I am a soon-to-be college student, taking courses in graphics, and would like to know what custom-built PC would be a good choice for developing graphics, and advertising? My budget is at $1200 max!

Nomad's build is pretty close to the one I put together. I just upped the ram. Depends on your needs. Both are similar, his being under budget and mine a little over.

If you mean graphics design, editing, stepping up to the i7 would get things done faster, but not needed. Your monitor's resolution and the type of graphics determines the video card. The gtx 1060 is a good balance between cost and rendering. Hope we helped. ![]() Edited by bprat22 - 25 Jan 2017 at 11:18am |
