I recently ordered and received a desktop computer from DS, and when it works, it works great! But there are some strange on and off issues when I am trying to boot the computer up.
When I push the power button, the motherboard lights up, the fans start going, but nothing else happens! The monitor doesn't turn on, the keyboard and mouse never turn on, etc. And when it manages to turn on correctly, it always has this message: New CPU installed! Press F1 to go into setup. Press F2 to load default values. Why is this happening?! Here are my system specs: Chassis Model: Cooler Master HAF 932 Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition (3.3 GHz)(6 core)(6MB Cache)AM3 Socket Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair IV Formula (AMD 890X Chipset)(SATA 6 and USB 3.0)(Socket AM3) System Memory: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Digital Storm Certified Performance Series Power Supply: 750W Digital Storm Certified Hard Drive Set 1: Operating System: 1x (500GB Western Digital Caviar (7200 RPM)(32MB Cache)(Black Edition) Optical Drive 1: DVD-R/RW/CD-R/RW (DVD Writer 24x/CD Writer 48x) Internet Access: High Speed Network Port Video Card: 1x ATI Radeon HD 6950 2GB Sound Card: Integrated Motherboard Audio Extreme Cooling: AIR: Stage 1: High Performance Cooler CPU Boost: FREE: Stage 1: Overclock the processor between 3.3GHz to 3.9 GHz Windows OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium I've been "googling" this issue, and I read that the power supply may not be enough, or that the motherboard isn't recognizing the CPU every time. But anyways, have any of you had this issue before, or do any of you know how to solve this problem? Thanks! |

You should call DS for this, it could be the oc settings, DS will figure it out for you.

Looks like the system is not POSTING (bootin up correctly), and then boots up fine after it loads BIOS defaults in safe mode. This can be due to a few things:
1. Loose hardware, can you try re-seat your memory and video card(s)? 2. Overclock. We may have to fine-tune your overclock. The best thing to do is try option 1 if possible, or, call us directly for help and well do our best to take care of you.
