Hi ArkansasWoman777,

I have used the Klipsch 2.1 Pro Media speakers for about 10 years. Last year I had to replace the Amp unit. One of the reasons I like these speakers is you can buy parts for them even after 10 years. The Amp unit and the Control unit are both available for purchase. You can buy the parts directly from Klipsch with free shipping.

I have always had top sound and you will be hard pressed to find better performing 2.1 computer speakers in this price range.

My ears are messed up.  The sound from just a good set of speakers is the same as a high quality pair.  The problem is that I have to have the sound turned up which bothers everyone in the house.  So I don't use them.

Instead, I use the Logitech G930 headset and it has worked rather well for me.  I am not saying that this pair is better or worst than other headsets it is just what I use.

Asangard, do you use them to listen to just about everything? How long have you had them? I was planning on buying them when i get my new system.

I have had them since May.  My computer is primarily for gaming but I do listen to some music from time to time.  I purchased mine from Amazon.  They had a good deal at the time.
