    Posted: 24 Jul 2016 at 9:09pm
Ok I bought this system back in early April of this year  , when I click on the shut down computer tab in windows ,it shuts down ,then a minute later it turns back on by itself . I then started to press on the power button to shut it down ,that worked fine for a few days . Now even after I press the power button on the tower to shut it down ,it turns off the tower , then a minute later the tower turns back on by itself ! Any suggestions ??

Couple of things to try .... Go to Power Options and disable Fast Startup. Also, Try going to your mouse and keyboard in Device Manager, right click properties and disable " allow device to turn on PC" or similar wording.

Unplug anything external to check it.    As it shuts down, unplug mouse.

Could be your motherboard.

Contact DS and have walk you thru trouble shooting, This can be manythings, it can be your setting on lan for it wake, it can be faulty wire/mobo/psu.

check your windows settings for power options and make sure your wifi/lan is not set to wake the pc.

Check your bios for any wake settings.

is window update trying to update and that is waking it?

I would repair the windows installation, try booting in safe mode with networking... seems to me something is conflicting with your system, most likely software ....

doesn't really matter whether you spend $4k or $10k on a system they all require periodic troubleshooting at some point in time.  DS can build you a perfectly tuned machine and within a couple of days of the user adding programs/apps/devices to it problems crop up.  most problems have to do with driver conflicts and that's M$ (if using their OS) and all the other hardware vendors fault.  people here can, and have, give good troubleshooting advice or you can have a DS techie walk you through them.   gl with you issue, i hope you get it resolved soon.

for myself, i have an $8k+ system and i', constantly chasing down weird performance issues, it's part of the pc ownership social contractWink

10K+ and exact same experience as above quote, no matter if I build the system or DS, its always the same.
