With a budget like that we can get a killer system going. How religious do you want to be with your money...are you looking for all around decent parts for a good machine or do you want to go all out?

Let's start from the top and work our way down. They will probably recommend the classified EVGA MB, 6 GB ram, the Corsair 1000 PS. The rest looks sweet to me. You're going to be very happy

Alright guys. Pulled the trigger. Can't wait for the system to arrive. Also took DST4ME's advice and went for the Dell 30" monitor as well.
I did have one question: How much difference does a TRIM compatible SSD make vs one that doesn't have TRIM? Thanks. |

trim will help keep your ssds performance level, this way you won't see performance loss, however there are other ways of returning a ssd to its first day performance level.
you gonna love that monitor, I have my eyes on it, but I might wait for the next gen, not sure yet. Congrats Let the torture begin |
