My main questions concern
1.  The cooler i selected for this *should i have selected one of the water cooling options*
2. Power Supply. How much room will i have in the future for adding Sli/New Gen vid cards.
3. Ram. Would i see much improvement to rendering apps with another 8 meg ram.
4. Video Card.  Will i get anymore out of a newer video card in something like Guild Wars 2 then i will out of the 580 selected.

Thanks for any advice.Big%20Smile

Hi valtek...That's a real nice config you put together.  I would however save yourself $80 and go to the gtx670 video card.  It performs better, runs cooler and uses less juice.

Here's another config to look at that is made for 3D rendering, it's quad channel memory and 6 core cpu the latest.  Depends what level rendering you do.

Config # 690767       Cost $ 2907

The H100, liquid cooler is what DS wants for the X79  platfrom and works good.  If you kept your config, the Noctua D14 is the best way to go.

I changed psu to the 1050 Hx.  It's tops, has a 7 year warranty and gives you lots of headroom for the future.  The 800W would work for sli, but doesn't give the headroom of the 1050HX.

See what you think and good luck.Big%20SmileBig%20Smile
