Budget:
3000

Expectations:
able to play lots of different games (Steam) and VR (HTC Vive)
can't play ARMA 3 for example

Usage:
gaming (currently can't run certain games and computer is slow)

Special Needs:
bought Config #1550535 in 2016 and it just isn't fast enough and it doesn't work with VR (VR was added last year)

1920x1080 wasn't planning on buying monitor(s)

At 1080p a RTX 2070 on a vanquish7 level 4 will do the job amazingly for about $1,800-$1,900. Just got mine today and I love it.

Edit:Prolly gonna have to RMA the GPU....

Hi tgaita...check out Lumos Config # 2240954... $ 2787

I tweaked your Config by moving up to a little stronger Asus Strix motherboard, a better faster Samsung Evo 500gb m.2 NVM Drive 1, a bigger & better Corsair 240mm cooler to keep that excellent overclocked CPU you chose cool, added the free RGB internal case leds, the very good RTX 2070 video card ...and we on the forum don’t suggest you overclock that card as it’s usually more stress on the card for very little actual gain...so I de-selected that....You could still add RGB case fans and not exceed that 3k budget if you wanted...See what you think!
