skyR,
My budget is around the 2500 to 2700 mark.
I have a travel website that I run (git2know.com....plug..:) ) Mainly I'm just concerned with a smooth transfer as far as that is concerned. I currently use Windows xp and am a little gunshy about swicthing to Vista but understand that I dont want to get caught behind the times. My wife and I love PC games but have different taste. So it would be great to be able to have more than one game installed at a time. We want to be solid on the system for years into the future as new games come out.
But also cant go crazy with the bucks.
Thank you

I suggest choosing the Q6600 over E6600 if you want to have a rock solid system for years to come.
You will benefit from the four cores since you run a website. More and more games will utilize four cores as well. |

SkyR is correct, a Quad-Core is worth the investment.
