The guys at DSO have a great rig that is a special buy aimed right at your 2000 dollar market.
Take a look at this, they have these setup to go, so it is pretty much 24 hours from order to ship according to the special deals page. http://www.digitalstormonline.com/comploadsavedsd.asp?id=184743 Dave |

not much really, but you can get a bit more out of your 790i specially down the road. I say these days ddr3 is a better choice, if you deiced to upgrade your CPU to a qx9770 in a year or so for a great price, the 790i will give you lot more then the 780 would.
but its up to you, I just wanted to give you another option to consider. Edited by DST4ME - 21 Oct 2008 at 6:15pm |

Personally, I find the GTO better bang for your buck at the $2000 price range. DDR3 doesn't give much of a gain with current cpus. i7 will be different, but DDR2 can give you just as much speed for less bucks if you choose faster ram. If you want the pc soon, the GTO is set to ship immediately, so that should also be a consideration if you don't like to wait.
