I’ve been playing around with the configurations, checking out all the options. I’ll be using the pc for gaming, web, e-mail, Word, pretty much all other basic things a computer is used for. I currently have a 19 inch monitor at 1280x1024, but thinking about upgrading that as well. Now for my questions, The Digital Storm Hailstorm case looks pretty cool but I’m not too fond of the size. My current case is about the size of the Cooler Master Elite 310. What disadvantages, if any, are there to using that case? With the power of the current processors and video cards, is liquid cooling kind of a necessary option now? Or is air cooling still pretty effective? I’m not against getting liquid cooling. I might get it just to help keep the system cooler and reduce noise. But I just worry about it leaking. But I suppose if it did and caused any damage, DS would replace whatever needs to be replaced, right? With the warranty, parts and labor. If a component were to break, would DS send someone to replace it? I couldn’t do it myself and don’t really know anybody that I think could without breaking something else in the process. Chassis Model: Digital Storm HailStorm (Black OPS Edition) Price $2726.00

the hailstorm is a great case, I would say go with haf and get great airflow and save money, size however does matter, the bigger the case the more room to grow and better temps/airflow.
LC is safe, the fluid is non conductive so if it spills nothing happens, however you are under warranty so if something were to get messed-up, you are covered. if something breaks like ram or gpu, they will send you part and you replace yourself, which is real easy, so easy a 12 year old with no experience could do it, we can walk you thru it if you like. or you can pay for shipping and ship the pc to DS and they will fix it and send it back. before I can help you with your config I need to know what size monitor you plan to get and when. |

I prefer cases that aren’t so flashy, and it looks like the haf case has a lot of lights on the front of the tower. The only thing that will prevent me from doing the repairs myself is a physical disability. My fingers don’t work too well. But I think I might be able to find someone to help. Let’s just go with the current monitor. I’m not positive I’m going to get a new monitor, and if I did, I wouldn’t go much bigger. 20 inches. |

it only has one led fan in the front.
you ask them to change the fan, or simply don't pic any internal lighting and the led fan will be your only lighting. you can always ship it to them and have them fix stuff.
