Hello,

I am considering an upgrade to my existing system. I have the following existing system:

Q6600/8GB RAM/P5Q Pro Turbo MB/case/Palit 2gb GTX460

I want to upgrade my case/cpu/memory and drop in my existing GPU and PSU and drives/optical. (Might get another GPU and SLI) Does the below configuration seem to accomplish this?

On another side note, would just updating the MB make any difference instead of upgrading several? (Or another single component)

(Note on config below, I have my own Corsair 850HX PSU already that I will be using, but web config doesn't let you take off PSU)

I hadn't planned on it, can they not build with a PSU they have for testing? That aside.. any comments on the boost from the rest of the config?

(I can work with them in some capacity, if i have to send it to them that's not out of the possibility)

I don't know about DS testing your config with their PSU, but they tested mine with the 8600 GT when I excluded ordering GPU. I think it might be a risk for both DS and you if this is taken.

Might need to call/email.

i know that i absolutely wouldnt do it without at least having you sent the power supply in to be tested. even then, massive liabiltiy issues, if it were me, id say you need to get a new power supply

but DSO may have something different to say, so best to contact them as he said
