Hello everyone!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving !!!! hope everyone is having a great time with their family and friends. As you all know, Digital storm has a black Friday sale going on with a 15% discount. I've been wanting to get a gaming pc for a while and with this deal its simply too hard to resist. This will be my first gaming pc so i'm SUPER excited lol. After doing some research( and reading the buyers guide which was VERY helpful) i came up with this set up. Now the problem is that i cant decided whether to buy the gtx 470 or wait for the new nvidia/ati card which are supposedly around the corner. Help guys!!!!

Thank Ender for your response. Your buying guide was very helpful. the gtx 580 and gtx 480 are within the same price range( just 90 more bucks), do you think its best if i just get the 580 instead? i mean the 480 does run a little louder and hotter than the 580. I was also debating whether its best for me to wait for the new cards which are coming in the first quarter of next year or just go with one of these bad boys. what you think?

The gtx 580 would be worth it but just a few days ago they marked it up by $200 because the demand is way over the supply. So now it should pretty much be off the table for most people since its $200 more for a extra core or two and quieter.

I agree with ender saying that u should try to go for the 480.
with the new cards that come out q1 2011 do you mean the ati cards? Personally i don't think they are going to have any single gpu cards that will be much better than the 480. Its the same manufacturing process just a few added tweaks for both companies. And the problem with waiting till then is intel will have the new socket out around there and so you will want to wait for that and after that there will always be more things to come.
If i were you and had the money i would just go for it and not look back unless i knew something was within a week away.
