Monitor is 1920x1080 wanted to keep it around the $2500 mark, but open to suggestions. I also plan to go crossfire with 5870's eventually so I went with the 1000 corsair psu. Is there a big difference in the 5870 vs. the 5870 xxx?

you might want to go with classified mobo if you plan on cf, tho for your res for most games you will not need cf.

In a few month buy a ssd and use that for HDD1 for OS/Games/Apps, and push the 1tb to HDD2 and use it for storage.

the xxx version is an oced one, but not enough that you would notice a difference.
