you might want to look into the AMD threadripper lineup.  you get a combination of cores and speed with the ability to use two modes: creative and gaming (requires a reboot when switching).  gaming mode disables cores for memory priority, basically dropping it down to Ryzen 7+ levels.  you can read more here: http://www.anandtech.com/show/11726/retesting-amd-ryzen-threadrippers-game-mode-halving-cores-for-more-performance/17 if interested.  

additionally, you'll want to invest in 32GB of system memory and a good graphics card.  

for the dusty, hot environment don't get an open air case like the Velox.  dust filters are a must wherever you have fans, so a Slade might work best for you.
