Hoping to take advantage of the special this weekend so would appreciate some feedback. I'm thinking that I'll go with a 750W power source. Thanks and without further ado:

that will be a nice rig Taff,but I recommend you stay with the 1000w power supply,incase you decide to get another video card later to run sli

Budget, up to 5thousand, less is better :)

you won't spend nearly half that if you're only gaming at 1680x1050 unless you like wasting money. Have you thought about getting a higher resolution monitor?

I have actually and would really like too, but I have a hubby, who is insistent that I don't need a larger monitor lol
 
OK, so what do you propose if I have limitations on monitor size?

you dont have to have a huge monitor, if your res works for you, stick with it.
 
if you wanted a higher res, however, it doesnt have to come in a huge package... what monitor, exactly, are you currently using?
 
 
theres little reason to go over 2500 unless you have pretty specific needs, check this out as a good building block for a cool and quiet beast. you were not too specific in your needs, so i just went for an all purpose ass kicker
