Hey fellows, it's me again.

I'm nearing the time where I can actually afford the computer I want to purchase, and so I want to give my latest configuration a nice going-over and get the DST4ME stamp of approval before I plan any deeper.

I am going to be purchasing a monitor, hopefully at least 1920x1080 or 1920x1200, so when thinking of resolutions, think of those. Also, I am just going to order a keyboard/razer mouse from Digital Storm for convenience, although I will be purchasing a monitor off-site. I hoped that the price would be under $2500, but I'm willing to pay up to $2900 for the computer, I'm just concerned that I won't have enough left in my $3,100 budget to afford a decently-sized, flat-panel, high definition monitor.

that looks good, just know that you can't go sli in the future, your psu does not support it.

if you want we can drop the price big time if we go to the budget section and pick all the same parts, the difference is the warranty, now the budget section has only 1 year part warranty, vs the 5 year platinum warranty, I think the price difference is huge:

Here you go Ticket# 410883 --- Price: $2093 (To see this build click here) Price after current promotion $2093

that should be same system but with a 1 year part, that is what 3 year limited is.

personally I like the 5 year warranty.

Edited the quote to be more space friendly.

Anyways, thanks for the advice DST4ME, but I'm paranoid due to past computer purchases and I don't want to take the risk of something going out/dying after my parts warranty expires and have to purchase another one.

In any case, I think the 5 year platinum is worth the price for my paranoia. In any case, if you're saying that everything on my current build is fine, I'll start digging around for a worthwhile monitor.
