I plan on using this computer mainly for 2D and 3D apps such as Maya, ZBrush, Photoshop, After Effects, etc. and some light gaming.

Some questions:
1. Is the Digital Storm RAM decent?
2. For the additional hard drive, do you randomly decide which manufacturer's drive will be installed or can we select?
3. Is the computer fairly quiet?
4. Is it a good idea to get the free overclocking for the video card?

Thanks for the help.

you build looks good, you sure you don't need more then 6GB of ram tho?

1. ram is mushkin so ya its good.

2. you can request whatever want

3. pc is fairly quiet but most of your noise will come from the gpu's fan when underload.

4. the oc on gpu will not make much of a difference.

Thanks for your help DST4ME.
I think the 6GB will do for now, however if I want to upgrade later can I add more RAM to the 6GB or does it already take up all the slots. Am I going to have to remove the 6GB if I want to increase to 12GB later on?

The board has 6 sockets, I believe DS uses 3 2GB sticks of RAM with your configuration.  You should be just fine upgrading to 12GB at a later time.

ask them to be sure but I believe they do use 3 x 2GB so all you have to do is add 6 more GB.
