 All of a sudden Control Panel will not open on,,64 bit Vista installed. Some other odd things aren't working either, some games,,external HD..
 
 A web search shows this is a problem and I have tried a couple of the fixes but they havent worked. Anyone have this problem? Any suggestions out there?

I have a Q9650 3ghz OC to 3.38.
A GTX280 card.
I have gotten an occasionally boot up error,,System is in Safe Mode, Please reset CPU or memory.
 
I called DS and we played with it and it went away. I have received that message a couple of times since I have called them but then it boots up fine and I assume is ok. A google search of the problem shows several causes that others have had with it. Nothing really makes much sense to me though.

Hey buddy, i hope that you get your problem fixed as soon as possible. I was just curious though

is that 3.38 the OC that came from DS ??
Q9650 @ 4.2Ghz( Liquid Cooled), 4GB 1600Mhz DDR3, GTX280 SLI, VRaptor,HAF 932
