I have the Sub-Zero LCS on my computer and noticed recently that my graphics cards (SLI GTX 480s) have been heating up a bit too much. I thought it was nothing much. It wasn't until the graphics cards shut off to prevent from overheating that I became worried.
I took a look at my reservoir and noticed the impeller for the pump that leads to the cards wasn't moving at all. This worried me so I took the reservoir out and then the pump itself. Upon further inspection (after twisting those awful blue blades apart, I saw that the metal rod(s) which are usually in the little holes were deteriorated. That didn't look good to me. Could that be the reason? |
