I recently received my lumos build, and as I was inspecting the case, I saw a sticker on my cooling system (DS 240mm vortex) that says "warranty void when removed"

I'm planning on replacing my stock fans when I have the budget, and would removing the block void my warranty? The terms and services stated that I would be able to modify the computer without losing my warranty.

I don't want to send the computer back to DS for them to replace it cause I can do it myself.

Thanks for any help

I just saw this post. Oops Hmmm.
Usually those stickers seal something which cannot be opened without voiding the particular item's warranty. R&R fans are usually not a source of issues, in this case contractual. To be safe and since you are in no hurry, I would send a Support ticket on the way so that you get a written response.
Enjoy.  Big%20Smile

Fan & part moves & changes are expected with all DS rigs and I’m pretty sure DS will confirm that for you.   Many individual components will have their own factory warranty active, and in this case that small round sticker should only warn you about tinkering with the actual cooler pump/ res internals it’s attached to... but the pump and res and fans can all be moved as needed.   Fans don’t last forever anyway...

The fans were CoolerMaster 210? 220? fans. Big suckers.   one on top and one on the side. I believe the ones on the from were similar but slightly smaller.

Then one 140mm in the back.

I am not sure what I did, but whatever/whoever graced my old DS system did me a solid as that PC never had issues until recently (hence why I bought a new one). I ran it 24/7, and only added a ssd and changed out the graphics card. I think it is still the original RAM sticks.

I like the new PC from DS, but I'll miss the big boy I had. On a side note, the LYNX RGB stuff makes the room look like a disco. My kids love it.

So maybe you should rescue the old CoolerMaster case ...put a new Z390 motherboard, cpu, DDR4 ram, and fast m.2 NVMe SSD in that case and make it fly again! Quality cases should be used over and over!
