I recently put in an order (yesterday June 15th) for a Dual SLI Nvidia 480 with Stage 2 Noctua air cooling....will I be ok?  Case = HAF 932

Welcome and congratulations on your recent investment! I don't have my rig yet to speak from personal experience cause I too have GTX 480's in dual SLI with the Noctua D14 air cooler. But from what the senior members advise is that it is sufficient as an air cooler, plus your HAF 932 case is build for air flow HAF(High Air Flow)...

It will definitely be OK! Good luck and post some pics when you receive your rig!

yea the noctua is actually not related to your gpu cooling.. but the haf should keep your cards nice and cool :)

I have the same configuration BUT w/ a HAF X case plus 2 x GTX 480s in SLI w/ the Noctua 14.

I was worried and called the Sales department about adding additional fans at which point they assured me that I had the best air cooler and that adding the additional fans would make my rig sound like an helicopter.Yes a helicopter. So I decided against it. Hahaha

How do you feel about SLI 480's???  I don't even want to think about not being able to play a game on full setting...Mainly MMO and some FPS. 

SLI 480's should last a good bit also for the games I play.

Good choice??

Wait'll you see your power bill, then you tell us. If it weren't for that, I'd say fine. Since that factors in my equation, I'm gonna be "Single Card Cretae" maybe for life. LOL But I'll have DDR6 and DX12 before you will!
