Tongue Looking to buy from DS but need to know if it is necessary to have liquid cooling on:  2x SLI Dual (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 1GB).
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

yes with the 920 on LC you can reach around 3.8GHz
now with the 940 on LC you can reach around 3.8GHz

need I say more?

you won't notice the difference between 1333MHz and 1600MHz, the cpu is meant to hanlde 1333MHz, so go with what is recommended, you won't notice the difference anyways.

creative has been having problems with dirvers, our sound guru, widdlecat recommends Xonar.

evga x58 just broke the OC record and short time ago has got an update which allows it to handle higher ram speed then 1600MHz, also the rampage comes with a sound card and you had picked your own, it was money being wasted over money being wasted.

the 260+ gtx is very close to the 280,with 2 x 260+ you would have a hard time telling the difference in games from 2 x 280 GTX.

going from 2 gpus to 1, was a mistake on my part, I meant to pick 2 x 260+
