I'm new to gaming and have never built a PC before. I want to build a pc that will keep up with high usage (pretty much 24/7). I was wondering if anybody could give some advice if the cooling system I selected will be enough for the CPU and the dual GPU I selected. Or if there are other things I need to consider to get the best performance from my PC.

IDK what you are trying for here, but you need to look into dual video cards ASAP. Nvidia will not support NV Link going forward in drivers, and games makers won't bother with it either. Dual GPUs is OVER in gaming.
I'm not going to prove this to you, but this build is a train wreck. DIY. From all I believe I know, the mobo won't handle this (no SLI), the power supply is inadequate, and the case will be an oven. I don't even know if the CPU could handle the job. If editing/photoshop is your thing, you want more cores, more RAM and NOT the slowest M.2 primary drive here. Red Dead Redemption 2 is just about the worst test for a GPU at 4k, and a single 3080 will get you ~ 100FPS and save you $3700. Seems like a deal you should not refuse. I have left my DS build on 24/7 on a dual fan all-in-one cooler for 3 years straight. Single GPU, no problems. |
