Does anyone know if this cooler will work on intel 1155 and if it's better or worse than a 3x120 rad with silent typhoon 1400 rpm fans.

you will need this plate to do that:

CoolIT Systems LGA-1156 Retention Kit

thats kinda like the DS's tec, if it works like the one from DS is much better, however from the reviews I had seen on it, a good setup like a triple xspc rad with typhoon fans will do better.
