I have noticed within the last week or so that the fan in my CoolMaster V8 is quite noisy at startup. However after about 1-2 minutes it quiets down and sounds perfectly normal. Does this indicate the fan is about to go out? If so will DS replace the fan or at least provide me a new one? Can I easily install a new fan within the V8 without removing the cooler from the cpu?

Fan change should be very simple either 4 screws or hinges.

if your pc is still under hardware warranty then DS will replace it, if not you can just do it yourself, maybe get a better fan even.
