Here is an early review of the upcoming Haswell i 7 4770K CPU
 
 
It is still dual channel memory and 16 PCIe graphics lanes.

Yes I agree.  I want to see Anantech put it through it's paces.
 
I thought I had read somewhere that is was going to be tri channel memory but this early review seems to contradict that.

It's funny you mentioned tri-channel. I was just thinking those with lga 1366 with tri channel might yawn a bit and hang on for another year or two.

But, I might be too harsh. 10-15 % better performance isn't bad.

So with these new processors will we be able to just switch out for example the 3930k with this one or is it not compatible with current mobos and ddr3 ram?

All new mobo with lga1150 pin count.   Won't be upgradable from z77 or x79.

So in order to use the new processor you need a new mobo, and all this for a 10-15%increase in CPU performance? Why can't the giant companies just not release things when it's a massive upgrade or difference?

I can't take anything tom's site says seriously definitly will need a few creditable sites to do reviews so we can get the real facts instead of tom's BS.

While I agree with the BS of not being able to upgrade our cpus (in the old days we could), at the same time a small amout of it has to do with size and architecture of the cpu, even if the socket number was the same I don't believe these mobos could run/take advantage haswell's architecture.
