what is core vid. is it like the max vcore you can put to the cpu? my q9650 has a min 1.1000 max of 1.2250.

VID = Voltage Identification.  6 pins on the CPU where it requests a specific amount of voltage from the voltage regs on the motherboard.

that is the factory set volatge values for your chip.. the lower the VID on the particual chip, the more room to OC, usually
