Hi everyone
I'm thinking of replacing my rig within about a year, and I'm eyeing the Obsidian 800D. Having gone with air cooling so far (current CM HAF 932 owner), I am reluctant to skimp on airflow, even if I move to a closed or custom water loop. I was wondering how much space their might be to install 1 or more 200mm or 230mm fan(s) in this sexy black box. It looks like there may be space on the bottom at least, but I'm not sure. Definitely considering buying from DS on this next go-round. Thanks for any and all input! -icepick |

200 or 230? I don't think that would be possible without case mods. I don't own the 800D so take that with a grain of salt, though I've never *personally* seen a 200 or 230 in one, and I've seen quite a few of those cases in person.

Yep, the 800D has cutouts for 4 more 120mm fans , 3 of them on top.. Like Tidxgor said, with the right tools ( saws, drills, etc.) I'm sure it can be done.

The 800D would need some serious modding to do this, there are other cases now that Corsair makes which have larger fans if you need them?

If you like your 932 case you will love the HAF-X case. For air cooling I think you can do much better than the 800D.

Yeah, what Frank said. If you are looking for air cooling, 800D wouldn't be my first option
