IMO that case is an underachiever... don't know what niche they are trying to sell to. Competition in the pc case market is fierce and they don't offer anything new. Perhaps they plan on selling based upon their name.

Corsair stated that the protype they are showing will have over 20 revisions.. Im sure they will add some more fans and relook there layout a bit. |

The only way that case beats the HAF is in appearance, and that is highly subjective. In every other way, the HAF looks superior.

I just love the jaw dropping look that folks have when they see the HAF932 beast. I just love it. When I get home and walk into the computer room I know that I am going to be seriously gaming. This case just appeals to something in me. Makes me feel like I went way overboard when I bought this beast. It reminds me in a very dramatic way that I bought one Hell of a machine.
Gaming is a totally different experience now!
Just using the computer spoils me from using any other computer now. Click on something and it is instantly loaded. I was so used to waiting for stuff to load or just to happen. It is hard to explain the joy in using such an exceptional system. The HAF 932 just looks like it should considering the performance this beast has.

I really liked the looks of that 935Si though. It was 100% classy and built like a top-end Lexus. The pictures on the site don't come close to justifying it. You really have to touch it and look at it up close to get a sense of just how well-built and perfectly finished it is. There are no decorative plastic pieces at all. It's all brushed metal. It reminds me of the way Cray supercomputers just reeked of class.
Actually, I think the big stenciled H A F on the side of the HAF932 is the main thing that turns me off. Maybe that comes off with a little rubbing compound? I also wish there wasn't so much decorative plastic. I actually like the top, and the glass/mesh door (left) side. The right side isn't my favorite, but it's ok. I guess I just have to wait until I get my HAF to see it in person. Maybe the site pics don't do that one justice either. Whether I fall in love with the looks of the HAF or not, really doesn't matter. It is by far one of the best-designed cases I've ever seen. They really thought of enthusiasts when they built that case. On utility alone, it is well worth having. I'm sure I'll be happy. (if it ever gets here... LOL) Edited by BillDempsey - 05 Mar 2009 at 1:14am |

It will be great to see what you think about the HAF after while since you have had the 950 already and you will have the HAF soon.
