I was reading some articles about some 1066mhz ram, and noticed that some people are saying that VISTA only reads it as 800mhz.  I was wondering if this was true.  Here are some reviews of the ram here and what they said about it.  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145043

I'm looking at buying another 2 gigs in a couple of months.

Not true, probably just bad sticks or their crappy mobo.

I wouldn't trust NewEgg as a source for reviews. Try a different website. Vista will see the RAM at its correct speed : 1066 Mhz and not 800 mhz. There's also something i should mention though. The Corsair 1066MHz is actually an factory OC 800Mhz RAM. The 1066mhz RAM are handpicked by Corsair and tested in pair to run at 1066mhz---Stable.

Maybe.  Not all 800MHz RAM will overclock well. Also note that RAM set to run at higher clock speeds requires more voltage, and more voltage means more heat. It's not a bad idea to install a RAM cooler if you plan to push the settings.

The 1066mhz Dominator RAM are guaranteed to run at rated speed by Corsair w/o crashing your PC. A 800mhz rated RAM may not even OC to 1066mhz and still stay stable, that's why the 1066mhz RAM are hand picked and tested in pair.
