Ok I have this problem.
The PCI-express cables also have 8 pins. (you can also remove the 2 pins if your card doesnt have 8)

Can I connect the pci express cables as a cpu cable? Since I do not have a cpu power cables that is long enough for my case, I have the Obsidian 800D case, with a EVGA 3x sli x58 classified motherboard.

I allready used the extension , which some people say you can come around, I do not understand how you can manage the cable behind the mobo and not use the extension!

so, can I use the pci express as a cpu cable? Cause I want to connect both cpu slots on the motherboard so I can overclock with ease.
