I'm planning on using the Corsair Obsidian when I build my wc'ed rig, and I want to know if I can put a pump in the space reserved for the hot swap 3.5 inch bays.

For example in the Haf you can remove those plastic hd holders and install a pump directly into the the space reserved for the hd's. As shown here:

I've been looking at pictures of the Corsair 800 for hours and I can't figure out if there are spacers between the 3.5 bays which would make installing a pump impossible, or if there were spacers, weather they are removable. I know many DS forum posters have this case, and I know that DS's build team probably know these cases like the back of their hands.

Can someone tell me weather it's possible to install a pump in the corsair in a manner similar to the haf show in the link?

Thanks.

Without drilling or cutting it is not possible.  There is not enough room for hoses to runn from any direction.  However, you could use a drillbit made for cutting holes in metal and make it work.  It would actually look very nice if done correctly.
