I prefer a desk with no sliding keyboard bench, I also like a monitor to be higher than the actual table, what would you call that feature...a pedestal, I suppose. Anyone?
I like this: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/40111124 but it doesn't have the elevated thingy for the monitor and it says it is for up to "19 monitor. My monitor is not height adjustable Something really simple like that. I don't need nor want anything fancy.

I bought my desk from IKEA... not that one, but mine was like $80 and is black with a glass overlay on the top surface (optional). Just go and walk around. I think the stores have stuff that isn't online and vice versa.

I have been there few weeks ago, didn't see anything I like. I was browing their website just now and found this: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S19876232 I like it a lot except the black box. My room is sky blue with pure white. The furniture is white, and I want the table to be white as well. And the depth is kind of too small. They have the white table with bigger depth but without the monitor rack. :( And the Anna the robot is of no help to me lol

ive been searching for a decent computer desk online for years and ill tell you that i havent found one decent one, even if you are not that apt at building you can likely put one together yourself or hire a friend/small business to custom build one for you. its really sad that there isnt more of a market for this in my opinion but you have to think that a desk is rarely something you change so its likely a 10ish year investment, worth a little extra effort
