So, I ordered my gaming laptop at the early hours of the morning yesterday, and despite an entire business day passing, and a good chunk of a second, my order is still showing up as "We have recieved [Sic] your order but have not procsessed [Sic] it yet.", and this is despite the fact that the cash has already gone through.
Could anyone tell me how long it normally takes for processing? (Also, for relavent info, I chose priority build and overnight shipping, if anyone wants to toss possible dates this would get to me) |

My own personal experience was the same day or so, 3 years ago. I've seen others take a couple of days or just a few hours. Not really a definitive time period that I've seen.
I do understand your concerns. |

Although i think the building times for laptops and desktops are different. Alex would have to tell you or someone who owns a laptop would have to tell you. It varies for everyone.

My Krypton order started to increment its steps the same day I ordered, but I suspect that's because I was one of the first people to order one the day the new model became available back in April, so there's wasn't a backlog of previous orders in the queue.
Definitely call DS as there should be an update within a day, I would think. Also make sure your spam filtering didn't shunt any emails from DS to a junk mail folder. When I ordered DS needed more information from me because my shipping address didn't match my billing address. I had to fill out a form and send it back to them, along with a photocopy of my credit card (I was allowed to black out the numbers). |

2 or 3 issues possibly at work here: 1) there may have been a communication failure from the bank to DS, 2) DS just hasn't sent the updated email yet, or 3) the email you should have received was caught in a filter somewhere.
Processing usually takes less than a day, except in cases such as Roykirk mentioned when the addresses don't match.
My guess is number 2... your order is be processed and they just haven't updated your email yet. Give them a call after 9 (pdt) today and get an answer. In addition, an email to management@digitalstormonline or alex@digitalstormonline wouldn't be a bad idea.
As for how long? ... that depends completely on the testing. Priority build and overnight shiping can still take a little while.

Just sent an email to management, but I can confirm none of the three you mentioned are at play. 1: I checked both with my bank and with paypal, the funds have transferred. 2: I am using the "My Account" thing in support, and my Order ID to check. 3: Checked and double checked my email, I have no notice in my inbox or in my spam folder dating on the day of or after my order for them to have finished processing. |

I'm still going for number 2. The order's been processed, but DS email system hasn't caught on yet. Wow.. did I write "Today"?! Fail on my part, sorry. DS is open 9 - 5 Monday through Friday. Let's try again.. 48 hours from the time this is posted they will be open and ready for business. Yes, Monday is a busy day, but from my experiences in and around DS, you will hear from them in one way or another. Hang in there. They're coming to help. As Mr. Zimmer used to say...
