Ill make this as short as possible. I tried to PM this to a few people but I your PM box is full =(. So maybe the 3rd time writing this is the charm hehe.
Ill make this has short as possible.
1) Stage 3 Cooling and the 750i case mod for 35 bucks.
Does getting the stage 3 cooling include the 750i case mod, or is that a seperate charge on top of the stage 3 cooling? I got confused where Kelly said the following:
"If you order stage 3, I think we fill up the systems with as many of the fans as we can. Some cases (like the Stacker 830) handle more than others, but we make sure to give you the best performance that we can. Sometimes that includes case mods."
The mod im speaking of is where a few of the CD drive bays are removed and a mesh screen and fan is placed instead to improve front air flow, in case you needed to know.
2) Sales tax, I cant seem to find out how to apply and see how much the sales tax is gonna run me, even when I go all the way to check out to the point where you imput your credit card details.
My question is basically, does DS charge a sales tax or not? Itd be great f you dont =) the sales tax where i live is insane to the point where I keep a P.O box in missouri and just have expensive things shipped to that. (wait...i think thats illegal...dont tell anybody)

Sales Tax:
I don't know how DS operates with sales tax (I'm in phase 5 and haven't yet received my computer with the invoice), but my experience with online taxes is that an internet vendor doesn't charge you sales tax unless they happen to have a physical office in the state in which you live.
For example, I live in Massachusetts, neither Amazon nor Newegg charge me sales tax when I order from them. But when I order from the Rockler woodworking store -- which does have a store in state -- I get charged sales tax.
My guess is that you're only going to get charged sales tax if you happen to live in California where DSO is based.

ah, nice well thats one question answered. Dell charges me sales tax, DS probably wont, unless they have a store in Arkansas...which i mean..yea...Arkansas...all that is here is wal mart. Thats nice to know though, that saves me about 250 or so dollars at least, cause that is what dell was gonna charge me in sales tax for their 720 |

I would do that happily, but I live in Texas so I would have to mail it over. Being somewhat frugal and also making my living supporting FedEx shipping solutions keeps me from doing that, haha. Im nervous enough having a pc mailed to me. Its pretty cool that we could do that though. |

RE: Sales tax Many of the large corporations will have small sales offices in each state. Dell probably has a sales office in AR.
